Nick is the Founder & Clinical Director here at Nick Castle Osteopathy & Sports Medicine Clinics.

As part of his professional development and commitment to education and training, Nick completed his MSc (pre-reg) Osteopathy training in 2015 at the British School of Osteopathy (now the University College of Osteopathy), the oldest and largest dedicated Osteopathy training centre in the U.K.
In addition to running the clinics, Nick is also a lecturer in Osteopathy/Sports Massage and works in professional football.
Over the last 10 years, Nick has amassed a wealth of experience in the sports medicine, injury and health sector. Nick has worked for various Premier League football clubs and completed a year as a Consultant Soft Tissue Therapist Therapist to the England Women’s Football Team in preparation for the 2019 World Cup. He continues to act as a Consultant Osteopath to various professional football clubs and athletes alike.
Since establishing the business in 2012, the business has grown from strength to strength and Nick now has a team of dedicated, skilled and experienced Clinical Associate Therapists.
Associate: Anna Giacopazzi - M.Ost Osteopath
I am a registered Osteopath and completed my 4 year BSc Hons in Osteopathy at the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine. Following this I gained additional post-graduate qualifications in medical acupuncture/dry needling to compliment Osteopathy by providing further pain relief for the treatment of musculo-skeletal conditions.
Working as an Osteopath has been fuelled by my background in dance and love for teaching. Having started ballet lessons from the age of three and growing up as a dancer, I developed an intimate knowledge of the stressor’s a dancer’s body is subjected to. I realised that even the smallest of problems need special attention, and was introduced to Osteopathy to aid in the rehabilitation and management of my injuries, influencing my desire to do the same. The treatment I received combined with my experience as a dancer has enhanced my interest in recovery and prevention of injuries, and since graduating I have gained extensive experience working with a variety of medical and sports cases from: marathon runners to footballers, elderly and children, occupational injuries, and those with acute and chronic lower back pain.
I have always had passion for sport, and enjoy learning how to best look after yourself. I take pride in educating my patients on the health of their body, and how to listen out for details that suggest it is not functioning optimally. I use skills in manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation to individually tailor treatments to suit my patients needs and improve their well-being; focusing on core strength and posture maintenance to reduce the re-occurrence of injuries, and regularly using taping techniques to provide extra aftercare.

She has been in sport her whole life, competing as a swimmer growing up and then into the gym and boxing so understands the wide variety of demands that training can put on the body and mind but also how to deal with these.
Chloe has been personal training clients since 2016 and in her time has worked with a variety of sports and fitness levels including GB Judo, Professional Golf, County Squash, Skiing, Yoga, Running and general fitness. Chloe developed a particular interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation and also uses her knowledge of exercise to improve fitness of people living with chronic conditions.
Her approach to treatment involves combining her knowledge of fitness with massage to bring a blend of relieving pain, restoring movement and fitness and preventing further injury.
Her sessions will involve a thorough assessment, sports massage and soft tissue techniques, joint mobilisations, stretching and exercise prescription to maximise recovery. During the appointment, Chloe welcomes questions as she believes patients understanding your treatment is a vital part of the treatment process.
Most of all she understands how injuries can be frustrating, so will focus on maximising exercise patients can still do during the recovery process and will aim to restore full training as quickly as possible!
I didn't actually choose to see Nick - I was sent to him by my exasperated personal trainer, and now I can't thank her enough! Five weeks before the London Marathon I developed a pain in one of my glutes and did what any self-respecting idiot would do - ran on it until it was so bad it hurt just to walk, and the months of training seemed like they'd been for nothing.
Nick is wonderful. He's very professional and thorough and he has a naturally calming manner that will put you at ease. He also clearly knows his stuff - in our first session he quickly identified my problem (piriformis) explained it in terms I could understand (!) and gave me exercises to speed up recovery.
I had three more sessions and they were well worth it. As well as treating the injury he also assessed my running style for any underlying issues and correctly identified previous injury sites. With his help I was able to quickly get back into training and, by some miracle, a week before the marathon I was pain free.
I joked that, as well as fixing my injury, I expected Nick to make me run faster. Well, maybe... Just maybe... The man's a magician! I'm delighted to say I ran a pb, clocked my first sub-3 hour marathon and came 46th out of all the ladies. Thank you Nick! I cannot recommend him enough.

A big thank you to Elaine (osteopath) at Nick Castle Osteopathy & Sports Medicine Clinics - after just 2 sessions she managed to work out some major aches and pains I'd been having daily, for over 6 months. I plan on seeing her on a regular basis to prevent any future problems. Thanks again!

I have had 2 sports massages with Nick, one in Kensington and one in Amersham. Nick is a very approachable therapist, who spends time building a picture of the type of sports you do and the injuries you have. I have found Nick's techniques to really help improve my performance.
